Sorry to rain on your parade, but Rik never says “Play it again Sam”.
When Ilsa first enters the Café Americain, she asks Sam to “Play it once, Sam, for old times’ sake.” When he pretends not to understand, she says “Play it, Sam. Play ‘As Time Goes By.’ ”
Later that night, alone with Sam, Rick says, “You played it for her and you can play it for me.” and “If she can stand it, I can! Play it!”
I had a big row with my mother in law over this, in the days before Wikipedia and the internet. We had to resort to renting the video and playing it. She made me play it THREE TIMES before she agreed I was right.

Missed out on some classic films there, and there’s some really forgettable quotes on that list. Seriously, two from Bruce Almighty and not a single quote from Pulp Fiction?

From Casablanca, and said again with no irony by Greenspan talking about his shock at the existence of outrageous greed in Wall Street.
Captain Renault: I’m shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!
[a croupier hands Renault a pile of money]
Croupier: Your winnings, sir.
Captain Renault: [sotto voce] Oh, thank you very much.

It´s in a movie with Mel Gibson and it´s his reply to a female in the movie. The line is an answer to hers.

Brilliant List!! I love lists that are not just carbon copies or other lists. This one seemed to have a little thought put into it. Thank you for placing more value on the line than the perceived value of the film that it is in. I will say it again, Brilliant List!

Instead of crediting the actor that said the line, how about crediting the writer who thought it up. You do realize scripts are not written by the actors (exception to Stallone)?
