I'd heard most of this before, with the exception of the history of spamming. Who'd thunk it that a dental marketing campaign was the very first form of spam (even before computers were a remote possibility). Now it is so commonplace - my son even uses the term to apply to junk mail in the postal box. Great site, thanks for all the interesting content. Very interesting article.
